Brock Office Automation (BOA) is in its 18th (now 20th) year of operation in Niagara, providing document solutions to business and institutional users. Formerly Brock Copier Company, the name now reflects the evolution in the industry.

Originally supplying office copiers and fax, the company now provides monochrome and full colour multifunctional (MFP) solutions that are primarily copier-based in both the traditional office setting as well as in wide format for engineering / architectural / surveying / construction clients. We also now provide mailing solutions to compliment our existing paper handling solutions.

BOA evolves with every new office technology. In the 1980s, the fax was the major business machine. Fax is now diminishing because of the wide acceptance of email. Impact printers gave way to laser printers. The new force in office solutions is the copier-based multi-functional product, or MFP. MFPs improve workflow through the convergence of technologies. Organizations can now have colour copiers that print & scan, for both productivity and convenience, without sacrificing economy due to the new affordability of colour.

Mike Gammon, President of Brock Office Automation says, “Management of the document has become as important to our clientele as the actual creation of the document. Technology now enables the creation of electronic documents for transmission, storage and retrieval. One of the product technologies about which Mike is most excited is the use of the SD memory card found in digital cameras. For those making presentations to groups, BOA offers a projector that requires only an SD memory card to house the presentation… no need to connect the projector to a laptop. You can also print to the copier/printer directly from the SD card, and scan and store to the SD card from the copier, scanner, e-whiteboard or camera.

The solutions offered and supported locally by Brock Office Automation are manufactured by Panasonic, Xerox, KonicaMinolta, KIP, Francotyp-Postalia and Okidata; and include products such as colour and black & white printer/copier/scanners, interactive e-whiteboards, plasma monitors, and mailing equipment.
